Although the main goal of The Martial Arts Academy is to promote quality martial arts, we recognise that not everyone can find the 'Martial' aspect of the training to their liking. Even with the many other benefits of training a martial art brings they are simply not focused on learning the art of fighting, and therefore cannot delve to the deeper levels of any aspect of the arts, including those which help with weight loss, increasing flexibility, stress, blood pressure irregularities, arthritis, reduced mobility and gaining strength, fatigue... the list goes on!

Of course if one path is closed to you, do you turn back? No, of course not, simply take another path. At our academy we offer other avenues which offer many of the benefits of martial arts training in their own way. Take a look through the links below and try a pumping Aerobics class, followed by a sports massage, or a detoxifying, stress reducing Yoga session, maybe some Tai chi and Qigong or perhaps a nice re-alignment with an Amatsu practitioner.
