This is the first level of barehand against dagger free attack. In this level, you will be attacked ten times by a chosen participant. You must be able to get away and avoid at least seven out of ten attacks without being cut by the training dagger. |

Xiao Hu Yan means "Tiger Roar Sequence," and is a Praying Mantis sequence in the Long Fist style. This sequence is considered a middle level sequence in Long Fist.

Qi Xing Dao is translated "The Seven Star Saber," and is a basic saber sequence in Long Fist which leads the practitioner into the art of short weapons. The saber is considered the leader of the short weapons. You will be able to apply at least 60 percent of the saber techniques to other short weapons. |

Kong Shou Dui Gun means "The Barehand Matches the Staff." The purpose of this sequence is to train a barehand fighter in getting inside or outside of the staff's effective fighting range. This sequence also trains the staff fighter how to step in order to place the opponent in the staff's most effective range. |
